A beautiful Danish porcelain compote by Copenhagen Porcelain maker, Bing and Grøndahl, circa early to mid-20th century, Denmark. A porcelain compote or tazza which showcases the company's signature design, the Seagull, which was created in 1892 by designer Fanny Garde (1855-1925.) This modest, classic design features flying seagulls inside bowl area against pale blue backgrounds, shaded patterns of scales around exterior, dolphin pedestal design, finished with hand applied gold detail. Marker' mark on underside as shown in last image. Dimensions: 5.38" Diameter x 4" Height.
