Most of … more Vintage: Greco-Roman Coin Relief, Liturgy Bread Impression Seal for any denomination of Christian, or Catholic Church Liturgy Bread. Most of these had certain seals, people either purchased, had from one generation to another, passed on down, in many shapes and sizes, but the unique theme would be Mythology, Biblical Characters, Good vs Evil, the Anointed, etc.., either way it was also another extension of Theology and the church, but through bread, a source of giving, and the theme behind this, either daily, weekly, or during holiday's and special saint's day's. As one can see there is a spartan-like warrior coin on one side of this 2-dual 2-sided Imression piece. the other coin-flip side has ample, with his back, curly hair, and small protruding devils horns...(we think, BUT difficult to ascertain a such), but to each hos/her own interpretation. It also may be used for a heat paperweight within any den/office, entry or such, down and upright vantage points both work as an accent piece as well. As a Greek we ourselves have medallion like coin impression, which we utilize when we bake homemade bread for donating to our church's and as such is a way of paying it forward, as what it has and was meant to be, on whole. sort of like breaking bread, but a form of atonement as well. Surmising as such, as have always grown up within the Greek culture to see this weekly, and throughout our lives. less
