The label on the bottom of this lamp indicates that was produced by Kovacs. George Kovacs has been called "the father of modern American lighting", and his company has been bringing innovative and poetic products to market for nearly 50 years. He has produced lamps with a number of prominent designers.

This statuesque lamp measures 21in to the base of the bulb 28.5in to the top of the finial. The column of marble is 4in square. This lamp accommodates a 3 way light bulb (offering 3 intensities of light.)

The marble is topped with a chrome stem, harp and finial. It has a brown cord with a 2 prong plug, believed to be original. The base is covered on the bottom with green felt to protect the surface it sits on. less
