This chair has been newly upholstered in a waxy blue leather with new foam, dacron, and tufts. The cast aluminium has been hand-polished. There are shallow scratches and minor scuffs on the cast aluminium frames from years of use (see photos for examples). The original label can be found on the underside of the chair.
