An antique pair of hand painted cabinet plates mounted as wall candle sconces. Plates are hand painted depicting a French couple surrounded by a cobalt blue trim. Artist signature “A. Paret” on lower right front. Marks on back dates to turn of 19th century, 1890/1900. Gold metal frame, possibly brass.
Measures overall 14 3/8” high, 10 ½” wide and 5 ½” deep. Plate alone 9” diameter. Great condition, no marks or damage; see photos.
