Stunning vintage handmade and handwoven traditional Greek sheep's wool blanket. The wool is felted which creates a thick, fuzzy and soft texture. This blanket is one of a kind with beautiful canteloupe and moss colors made with all natural dyes materials. Acquired directly from the estate of a 97 year old 1st generation Greek American who lived her entire life in the home she was born and raised in. This blanket came from her parents and family in Greece. It was stored in a cedar chest for years and years and has been carefully laundered and sufficiently aired out. Exact age unknown, likely circa 1950s/60s.
