Vintage: C.1960s, Danish Mid-Century Modern, Hans J. Wegner (Designer), EJ100 "Ox," Club Lounge Chair and Ottoman, 2-piece set in a full grain Italian camel leather textile, with self welted detail. This club lounge chair is sometimes called, an "easy chair."
Th Ox club lounge chair was originally produced by A.P. Stolen, but only until 1962 due to technical and market problems. It remained out of production until, 1985, when it was re-issued by Jorgensen, who remains the "only," licensed manufacturer. The chair as well as the ottoman, both have the maker's mark on the underside, as images indicate on both pieces, as well as a close up, to showcase the distinctive, provenance, maker and Designer's information. The ottoman may be used to rest one's feet are elevate them, it also may be used for extra seating, if and when needed or the occasion reside itself. The chair and ottoman are in near perfect condition, except for a couple minor little scuff marks to the ends, of each apposing end of the head rest, and assuming when the chair was moved, along or near a wall. as it is quite a heavy and solid piece of furniture.
