Sideboard-buffet in French Art Deco style, walnut veneer.1960- 1970s
A beautiful sideboard made entirely of wood, covered with walnut and ash veneer, it is a beautiful, unique piece of furniture that incredibly beautifies a modern interior.
The top consists of a glass chamber with sliding windows, half of it has a beautifully profiled semi-circular shelf on half of it and is supported by a chromed post fastened through a hole in the glass with a screw. There is an original mirror with discoloration on the wall. On the right side, a semi-circular display case with polished glass and a wooden shelf, a wall also lined with a mirror, but a completely new one because it had huge discolorations and stains.
The large central chamber behind the door opening downwards once served as a bar, on the lower left side there is a small display case with a shelf and sliding glass. There is a drawer underneath. At the bottom, on the sides, there are two niches with beautifully rounded wings. in the middle there is a shelf with a wall.
The condition of the furniture is good or even very good.
several sliding windows added later, as well as narrow crystal windows in the arched doors - 1 glass, the rear 3 panels of the wall behind the mirrors were also replaced.
Everything was cleaned outside, under the floor, inside and a dozen or so layers of hard oil were applied again. Locks work.
