This piece is made from fruitwood and has a lovely color. The top of the desk has a molded edge, and follows down to interesting trestle type legs with hand carved saw tooth designs. The legs are joined to the top with stabilizing brackets for additional sturdiness. The legs are supported on a nicely shaped bracket, supported on two very unusually carved feet that almost have the appearance of tassels, and are connected with a simple cross stretcher. See less
