The coat rack 109 designed in 1936 is a practical and beautiful element for any entrance hall. This design is part of a group of “domestic helpers” that Alvar Aalto designed in the 1930s. He designed several charming and versatile products in this collection. The coat rack is structurally based on laminated birch wood loops, typical of Alvar Aalto’s work. He used them as standard components in several designs, a characterizing part of the design. This coat rack is in good condition with nice signs of use.
