- The mirror is the art of not being. This is our real research. Ours, yes. Because we create this moment … more The mirror is the art of not being. This is our real research. Ours, yes. Because we create this moment when we observe and we are observed at the same time within the work. So not only an undergoing work, but at the same time you are spectators and works in the making. Every single mirror, every single work is handmade in the center of Rome. The breakages, cuts or imperfections are enhanced as a process of purity, where there is no intention. Almost a divine sign that intercede to tell us to go further, beyond the work, beyond the idea of perfect, where the perfect is what? Is it perfect according to whom? Therefore a break, a wound that is cultivating, that stands like a way, pass beyond the image. This is the meaning of our research. Cross the visible. Inspired by the study of the eyes in vogue in 1600 in England, our collection of eyes has more than three hundred different subjects. Silver mirror with completely natural oxidation and retro -decorated hand decorated with mixed technique through the use of natural pigments, lacquers and filters. Central motif: eye. Dimensions: 18 x cm 22 cm. Hand -operated raw lead lead frame. The manufacture and of this product was made with craft and non -industrial procedures. Small imperfections are deliberately present by constituting specific characteristic of the product and added value to it, they testify to its unique manufacture. less
