Everyone needs a clock, so why not pick up this mid-century modern version for your wall today. This rounded rectangular clock has softly curved corners and a lovely round-over on the front and back that make the edge grain Baltic birch flow oh-so-smoothly into the walnut face. Whether this clock ends up in your living room, dining room, office, or den, you’ll love checking the time on this minimalist work of art.
White glossy metal clock hands contrast with the rich matte walnut tones of the face of the clock, and the transition into the rounded over sides (featuring the edges of Baltic birch layers) make this functional work of art float from your wall. A sawtooth picture hanger is attached to the back, but it’s inset to allow the clock to sit tight against the wall.
Another option is to move the picture hanger and turn this clock sideways or upside down. This piece gives you the chance to have a say in what your artwork looks like.

MATERIALS
(01) Baltic Birch
Our furniture is made using a beautiful high-end layered Baltic birch from Columbia Forest Products®. Each of the 13 layers are solid wood, and a thick facing of walnut wraps each side in rich tones. The Baltic birch is a sustainable product and will be very stable as the seasons change, unlike some single-piece solid wood furniture.
While many woodworkers would conceal the edges, we have made it our signature look to highlight the striped layers. Not only does this give a nod to the designers of the mid-century era, it makes every piece by Hossle Woodworks a work of art, and a unique, one-of-a-kind, creation.
(02) Finish
We finish our products with a mixture of pure tung oil, boiled linseed oil and wax. This means less harsh chemicals when we are doing the work, and a safer breathing experience for you. The end result is a durable, water-resistant matte finish that feels like a silky-smooth piece of wood.
Another benefit to the finish is that it allows for easy repair when scratches happen. Buff out the scratch with a piece of high-grit sandpaper and rub in some Howard Feed-N-Wax® and your piece is as good as new! less
