The wooden heron is a great gift, but like many of our decor products, you’re going to want one for yourself. It’ll be right at home on the mantel, or perhaps in one of the taller nooks of our Geometric Bookcase

The dynamic sculpture has an “edge” face, where we’ve layered the Baltic birch and turned it on its side. It seems to almost lengthen the bird, and when viewing it straight on from the front or back, ripples in the layers of birch appear and give a forward and upward momentum to the piece.

(01) Baltic Birch with Walnut

Made using a 13-layer solid wood Baltic birch with a walnut face. Baltic birch is a sustainable product and will be stable as the seasons change, unlike other solid wood furniture pieces.

We have made it our signature look to expose the layers of Baltic birch. Not only does this give a nod to the designers of the mid-century era, it makes every piece a work of art, and a unique, one-of-a-kind, creation.

(02) Finish

Pure Tung Oil, Boiled Linseed Oil, Beeswax, Carnauba Wax. The end result is a durable, water-resistant matte finish that feels like a silky-smooth piece of wood. See less
