Measuring at approximately 3 ft x 3 feet aka 3 foot (the perfect size for your abode, you say?) this authentic, stained glass beauty is the real deal - made from vintage glass held shamelessly together by lead - Oh! Glorious lead! and framed within a solid wood (oak) wooden frame and fitted with a rustic metal chain for easy installation.
Handmade by an unknown designer, this decorative gold, chunky shards of colorful glass puzzle together to depict a timeless, eye-catching image of muted yellow and tangerine orange poppy flowers, accented by lime green leaves and hooker green stems.
Even against a blank white wall, the rich hues of this piece are sure to impress...but installed in front of a sunlit background (say, indoors in a window or outdoors in the garden) this original artwork will dazzle as it transmits a classical symphony of vivid colors in the key of yellow ochre major. As a result, this work of art is a perfect compliment to blue, red, or white home decor.
And by the way, how very Mid-Century Modern of this piece to have such a muted mustard color scheme.....no? That's because this stunning artifact was handcrafted circa sometime between March 18, 1952 and July 11, 1984, according to my cat, who is a highly respected appraiser, and who actually advised me to hold onto this gem. But I told him, I says: "Mr. Tuna-Face! What do I look like - some kind of tactless toad? I would NEVER..........EVER be so selfish as to keep this masterpiece from its rightful owner." I was referring to YOU, of course (only because you were going on earlier about how perfect it would fit in your space.) I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
