The newly made semi distressed wood brackets are painted in a rust tone wash with the borders finished in painted gold leaf. The bronze gold leaf mounts are indicative of the Empire style. The recessed housing is set on the back ready to hang. I placed crystal orbs on a pair like these flanking a gold leaf mirror in a clients powder room and it was magical. See less
