This midcentury chilled butter dish, crafted by renowned silversmiths Mappin & Webb, exemplifies the elegance of Art Deco design and fine dining. Made circa 1940s for the P&O SS line, it features a sleek, streamlined form with scalloped handles and a removable insert. The bottom holds crushed ice, helping to keep the butter cold during service. Marked on bottom.
