Amongst the most iconic and popular chairs of all time, the Eames molded plywood dining chair is a veritable landmark in the evolution of the Modern chair.
Declared the "Best Design of the 20th Century" by Time magazine, the chair is in the permanent collection of New York's Museum of Modern Art.
It was designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1946 using the groundbreaking plywood molding techniques the duo invented in the early 1940s.
The lightly scaled yet strong design will complement and add enduring style to any dining space and their gentle curves, and ergonomic form provide comfortable support for extended sitting.
