Offered is a very heavy Danish Teak magazine rack, made for a German furniture company and sold throughout Europe in the 1960s. It has 3 slabs of solid teak, with the center slab being higher with the handle designed to seem like luggage. The hardware is hidden in teak tubes at the sides, and no joints or hardware are visible. This piece is perfect for any mid century design enthusiast home, and even better for an office as a desk organizer for papers or heavy books. A film executive holding masterpiece scripts? An interior designer or architect? A doctor?
The edges and corners are very subtly rounded, and the design is very sleek and minimalist.
