Description: Pair of statuesque Chinese chairs with horseshoe (also called oxbow) back rails. The chairs are enhanced with delicate foliate carving … more Pair of statuesque Chinese chairs with horseshoe (also called oxbow) back rails. The chairs are enhanced with delicate foliate carving in and on either side of the curved backsplat, in the crooks of the arms and inside the lower part of the bowed legs.

Custom made box cushions are included. These are green velvet with a Persian pattern in red, yellow and black and yellow and black braiding. The pattern runs across the seats instead of up as it should.

Made in China, late 20th C.
Measure 30” x 24” x 39” tall. 19.75" seat height without cushion.
