An exquisite Charles X marble top commode, made in France during the tumultuous period during the Bourbon Restoration under Charles X's reign of 1824-1830, is a textbook example to the fine craftsmanship of the era. With its original rectangular antique black marble top, resting on a conforming stained wood case features three long drawers, each measuring 43 inches by 6.5 inches in height, complete with their original brass lion medallion ring handles.
