Black and white non-figurative composition in acrylic on canvas and paper, signed Jean de Gryse. This contemporary artist possesses the rare ability - innate or acquired - to create a powerful work with a minimum of plastic means. from the basic elements of color and minimal, repetitive form, a work develops that, in addition to providing undeniable comfort and aesthetic pleasure, also offers the viewer the possibility of embarking on a voyage of discovery. Optimistic and therefore abstract, each viewer will appreciate this work differently, depending on his or her mood or the time of day. Jean De Gryse is an international artist who lives and works in Kortrijk, West Flanders. Since 1985, he has produced exclusively abstract works. De Gryse has developed a visual language that is clearly recognizable by its original, highly personal geo-abstract forms. A notable exhibition was that of Jean De Gryse at Espace Blanche in Brussels in 2010 and at Mad Art in Pittem. Jean De Gryse was exhibited with Bengt Lindström and Vladimir Veličković. Signed on the back.
