It's a large … more This vintage terracotta woman sculpture was handmade and handpainted in northern Brazil, purchased in the early 1980s. It's a large jug or vase with the woman's head as the stopper. The color is bright brick red, with white painted flowers and swirls, three raised buttons, white eyes and earrings, and a braid that winds around her head. I especially love the little sleeves above her teeny arms. This great piece of folk art is in very good condition for its age, with a little wear on the white paint and a few chips around the neck. less
