The back marks indicates that this beautiful cabinet plate was hand painted by Pierre Dubois in 1924. Pierre Dubois began working at this factory in 1917.
These gorgeous antique plates has a lightly scalloped blue rim edge with flowers dotting the rim. The center is comprised of pastoral scenes depicting each a man and a woman.

It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks except a longer kiln flaw not an actual crack. There are a few very tiny glaze skips on the rim which is normal for antique majolica and faience.
