This beautiful Louis Vuitton trunk features the very rare and highly sought-after checkerboard pattern. This Vuitton canvas is typical of late 19th century production. In addition, it features silver borders and LV stamped side handles. Its lock is made of solid brass and is also stamped Louis Vuitton. This Vuitton trunk has retained numerous travel labels. This Louis Vuitton trunk has a magnificent, rich and warm patina. Its interior is entirely original, beige and red lines with its Louis Vuitton label and serial number. It is complete with its small removable basket with straps and its large basket. The interior has small stains, but keep in mind that it is over 120 years old, which is understandable. However, generally speaking, it is clean and fresh, without odor. This beautiful Vuitton trunk can be used as storage or as a side or bedside table.
