The unique abstract impressionist style of this painting in colors of vibrant blues, and dusky gray sky, to pink edged purple mountains are enclosed in a filagree embossed style solid wood frame from Bradford Gallery in Austin,Texas April 13, 1975. The off-white custom frame has an aged patina with hanging hardware included. The blue velvet mat surrounding the picture brings brightness and added color to this piece of art.

Herman Rednick has a center still in existence today in the U.S.A. in northern New Mexico exhibiting his artwork and teachings. If you're a collector of his work or follow his teachings, then make this a "keeper" in your home.

"Artist and Mystic Herman Rednick was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 2, 1902. He attended the National Academy of Design, graduating with honors in 1927. He exhibited at the National Gallery in New York and at galleries in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. After serving in World War II he moved to Taos, New Mexico where his work reflected the people and landscape of the area, particularly the people of the Taos Pueblo. His work evolved into more mystical imagery as he began to practice yoga. Herman Rednick died in April of 1985 in Taos, New Mexico. His home remains as a center, maintained by the Herman Rednick Trust, displaying many of his paintings." See less
