It is is excellent vintage condition showing only minor scuff wear to the wood-slat seat and back, none of the wear is objectionable. All wood is sturdy in frame and intact with a gorgeous patina to its honeyed color. All metal is in excellent condition showing no dings, scuffs, scratches or rust, including the footrest. Full 360-degree swivel action is in perfect working order and level. All legs are rubber-pronged and level. The iron swivel is marked 1963, demonstrating that this is a classic piece of mid-century modern design furniture. An additional indication that this is an original Arthur Umanoff and not a reproduction is the perfectly aligned fan shape of both the backrest and the wood of the seat, the spacing and nailing is even and balanced. less
