Cobalt and gold floral fluted tea bowl, made in the late 1700 by Worcester Porcelain. Decorated in the neoclassical style with underglaze blue, on a fluted form. The bowl is marked Flight.
The saucer is unmarked (possibly Worcester or Caughley) and is bordered with flaming pearl.
The set is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is some gilding loss along the rims and inside the bowl and saucer, as well as some glaze imperfections, consistent with gently used 18th century porcelain.
Cup: 2" height, 3-1/2" rim dia
Deep Dish Saucers: 5-1/2" dia
There are two sets available, sold separately.
