All drawers have an original drawer pull and slide out in good working condition. Wear marks and some surface scratching is visible. Some veneer chips at sides and veneer pulls at the base on the sides. Color variation at top and some marks. Please see photos and close ups for reference. An absolute unique drawer chest! An apothecary or florist drawer file from the mid-late 1800s. Each mini drawer interior has a full metal scoop design, see how each has a metal box covering the top with tapered sides. Originally used for seed (packet) storage, each drawer can set into an angle for accessing without removing the drawer. All drawers can be taken out with ease. All original hardware and drawer pulls. Each drawer pull has a brass plaque for use of labels, if desired.

This type of drawer design can be used in a studio or hospitality setting, for specific tool storage or even brought back to life in a working shop for merchandise or stock items.

This is a sectional cabinet, similar to barrister book case designs; four pieces total as the topper is a separate piece. Mix of solids and veneers, no makers mark found. Due to the age of this piece, it should be moved and handled with care. Please see all condition notes and close up photos for reference.
