Caro took the challenge and next day he showed me his sketches. The idea is not to group the arms into a base and a common pole stem, but to have all the arms becoming stems. Like a bundle of stems, in italian fascio or fascina, so the wordplay name fascino (charm) for the chandelier. The lab owner was thrilled to be working on a carlo nason design as well as i am honored. Each arm diverges with a different arm and can be rotated on its axis. The result is a random orientation of the light output. In one picture i placed all on one side and one on the other, just to show the infinitive possibilities of this design, there is brass a disc to keep the upraising arms parallel.
