The floral carvings, combined with a light green, give it charm and lightness. It was painted with chalk paint and protected with a wax finish. The old varnish on the table top was removed and the top was oiled. The signs of the times were deliberately left on the plate so that the furniture retains its authenticity. Also wonderful as a desk. See less
