The dresser has a beautiful shape that imitates an old fashioned cooking kettle. It has a full bellied bottom that tapers as it rises and flares to the front and sides. The 5 drawers have elm burl fronts while the top has two shades of mahogany veneer. The carved base has a acanthus swirls on the feet. The drawer pulls are heavy brass.
