Extraordinary mid-century modern cityscape painting with brown and green skyline. The large scale (5 foot) cityscape painting is reminiscent of work by Lee Reynolds. The heavily textured array of skyscrapers employs and impasto technique. The painterly building reflect upon a body of water with beige and green highlights. The sky above is cream with fluffy beige clouds. The artist’s signature is present but largely unintelligible. The painting is conveyed on canvas and housed in a black frame with metallic trim inlay.
