Exquisitley carved with a floral and vine motif with raised ridge border. These are definitely relics once attached to another treasure. But these could make a great pair flanking a picture or laid atop a stack of books for interest, or attached inside the interior of a book case. The finish is a dark mahogany and hanging hardware is provided on the back of each frieze.
