"Fans from the East"
An offset lithograph gallery poster on paper for a 1978 exhibit titled "Fans from the East" at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. The piece features an image after a 1797 ukiyo-e print by listed Japanese artist Kitagawa Utamaro (1753 – 1806) titled "Woman with a Fan", with a signature in plate located to the center right. Presented under glass with a gold metal frame.
I have a complementary poster with a crack on the edge of the glass:
