Designed by Hans Wegner, a pioneer in mid century Danish modern furniture, and manufactured by C.M. Madsens, these chairs are a classic example of Wegner's Scandinavian seating design. These chairs feature solid teak sculpted backrests and are in excellent vintage condition. The original black leather complements the teak's dark patina perfectly.

**Maker's mark is shown in image #5 here, this is where the label is branded in on every chair by the Danish maker.

These are very special, original, vintage Hans Wegner chairs that are completely original throughout. The upholstery would benefit from being updated at some point. The leather is nice and patinated and soft, with no holes, and conditioned to show their vintage character. This set of six "W2" chairs is beautifully preserved, with original upholstery and maker's marks. Overall, the chairs are in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear and a rich, aged tone throughout. less
