- Overall … more I'm genuinely pleased to offer for sale this magnificent and unique dining table with the following fine features:
- Overall measurements are 31.5" tall x 76" wide x 40" deep
- The chimera pedestal bases measure 24.5" deep x 7" wide x 29.5" tall
- The altar-style tabletop measures 64" wide + an optional 12" leaf (not pictured) x 40" deep x 1.75" thick
- Leg clearance is 29.5 inches
- The chimera are distress painted in jade green with gold accents and made of solid concrete
- The chimera are in perfect structural and excellent cosmetic condition, with some wear indicative of normal age and use
- The altar-style tabletop is stamped "7135-40 L-651-83 Made in USA" suggesting it was made in 1983 likely here in North Carolina, although I cannot be sure that this tabletop was originally designed to fit the pedestal bases or if it was custom made
- The altar-style tabletop is distinctly Asian with scrolled edges
- The altar-style tabletop has a slight warp on the left-hand side as it meets the altar edge joint (please see images 5 and 6) but is in otherwise excellent condition
- The altar-style tabletop is mounted by bolts to the chimera pedestal bases and it opens smoothly to allow the leaf to be placed and /or removed less
