Pair of Chinese ovoid shaped ginger jars in a Celadon style glaze with floral and pomegranate motifs, late 19th to early 20th century. The muted, calming color scheme features soothing, pale hues of a fruitful pomegranate tree. The glaze has a unique satin-matte finish lending a beautiful, velvet-like sheen. The coordinating pair is in good condition with no cracks or chips present. Apocryphal Qianlong (18th century) mark is on the bottom.
