This vintage 5x14 Persian Kilim is handwoven in wool, and originates circa 1950-1960. Connoisseurs may also note that Rug & Kilim believes this to be a Northwest design, and appreciate the culture therein as much as its beauty.
Further on the Design:
The design enjoys medallion patterns in a rich burgundy open field with crimson accents. Keen eyes will further admire very complementary orange and black hues, and even a subtle midnight-blue accent. This is a gorgeous piece with meticulous detail, and its gallery runner size hosts vast applications today.
Further on the Condition:
This mid-century Northwest Persian flat weave further enjoys good condition for its age and origin.
