Genuine antique depression condiment set by Tiffin in gorgeous pink with gold edging in the Rambler Rose pattern. Crafted in the 1930s, these pieces have been in a display case for the past 50 years. As serving pieces, they would be perfect for mayonnaise, yogurt, salad dressing, or any dipping sauce. There are three matching pieces - bowl, plate, and ladle.
The octagonal bowl is 7” edge-to-edge, 7.5” point-to-point, and 2.5” high with a 3.25” round pedestal base. The octagonal plate is 8” edge-to-edge, 8.75” point-to-point, and 0.5” high. The ladle is 5” long with a 3” handle. The cup is 2” diameter, 1” high, and holds 1 tablespoon.
The glass is in excellent shape with some imperfections consistent with age and use. These include a few small air bubbles that are artifacts of the manufacturing process and typical of the period and a few superficial scuffs. This item pairs beautifully with the matching 12” serving bowl offered separately. You can find a few of these pieces separately but you won’t find all of these pieces together in one shop in this kind of shape anywhere else. less
