1960's Rare Signed Pschedelic Peter Max Enamel Serving Pot. We are not sure of the pattern of this china. In a fabulous apple green enamel. We found out in research that in 1967, the Iroquois China Company introduced the pattern, Love, which was designed by Peter Max. Love was described as a “psychedelic style splashed across” Iroquois China plates, mugs and bowls.
Peter Max (American/German, b. 1937) is a famed illustrator and graphic artist who specializes in Pop Art and Neo Expressionism ,and is known for his generous use of vibrant colors. Max was born in Berlin, Germany, but his family relocated to escape Nazi Germany.
