these four chairs were produced by the jacob & josef kohn company from 1908 (series 369) and appear in their catalog from 1909. The attribution to josef hoffmann is based on the similar model no. 371. The 369 series was very popular and backrests were produced in different versions. The most common variant was the one with three or five vertical bars.
