I just love Gumps Department Store in San Francisco as they always have an exciting and unique assortment of goods. This is a very rare marquetry jewelry box that is lined with black paper and the bottom is lined with black velvet felt. Just the right size and what a great design. Probably from the 1980's from Italy and would be a fantastic gift.
