Stunting architectural salvaged cast iron piece with folding holy water font / bird bath on the bottom - hand crafted/ hand forged in late 1800s. Brought from Austria.
There are precise swirls, leaves pattern in dynamic relief structure.
At its creation this stunting artistic item served as wall holy water font on the entrance hall and it is quite clear that only extremely rich people could afford such decorative, hand forged items.
Today this incredible piece would be perfect decorative wall attachment, as it can not stand alone; it can be wall mounted on original drilled mounting holes on the top.
We sealed this old beauty with thin layer of wax, its surface is now smooth and safe :) This adorable piece of our history is perfect vintage reminder of our past with stunting timeworn patina, which is a proof that our ancient ancestors knew, how to make timeless decor :)
Item is cleaned and ready to enjoy as unique and one of a kind religious home decor.
