Silver buddha of this type are relatively rare.
The silver foil is worked on a core which can be composed of different types of materials, usually clay mixed with resin. The designs are scrupulously chiseled onto the surface.
The Cambodians were excellent at this handmade work although some circulating pieces are attributed to Thailand, the Thai handwork pieces are recognizable not to be so accurate.

Not many of these buddhas have survived due to their characteristic.

This piece is in good condition, compatible with age.
The plate is almost entirely intact, there is just a visible lack on the back. (see photo)
The front is intact and features superb handwork that is incredibly meticulous in every detail.
At the base on the reverse there is the inscription of the Temple which should show also the date of the Buddhist year
