The work is a mixed technique on paper representing three balinese women surrounded by vegetation and gathered around a water basin, circa 40s. The work is typical of the style of le mayeur de merpres who represented many scenes of everyday life in bali in the 30s-40s. The work is signed lower left, good condition. Dimension : 20.87 x 14.97 inches ( frame : 27.76 x 21.74 inches) jean le mayeur de merpres (1880-1958) is a belgian artist, having traveled widely around the world (africa, europe, asia), to finally settle in bali; place where he meets his muse and future wife: ni pollok. His house in sanur (bali), has now become a museum dedicated to him. This piece has an attribution mark,

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when
making a purchase on Chairish, in the event that your item:

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
