An organically shaped seat and backrest made of molded wood, complemented by a tubular steel frame - a combination of materials that could not be found in any other chair model from Germany at the time. Giving furniture “a human dimension” was Eiermann’s goal, and as anyone who has experienced the chair’s ergonomic comfort can attest, no one has achieved this goal as elegantly as the far-sighted architect himself.
