Based on the shape of a lily, the fleur-de-lis is a symbol that has been used for many centuries for a variety of things, including royalty. Originally a stick pin, the fleur de lis was mounted onto the band. The ring is great worn alone or stacked, sitting flat on the finger (rises 2mm - 0.07 inches).
