It is based on a 1969 design by … more Highly sought after vintage IKEA trumpet shaped sheet metal ceiling pendant lamp. It is based on a 1969 design by Thorsten Thorup and Claus Bonderup for the Fog and Morup company in Copenhagen Denmark.
In the late 1980s these lamps were produced for the IKEA market and this listing still retains its original manufacturing labels including the „Made in Denmark“ IKEA label which all are attached on the inside of the ceiling cap.
Based on the dimensions, this lamp is a Semi Mini Model.
The lamp is in excellent condition, inside and out without discoloration or chipped enamel. The only irregularity to report is a pea size shallow indentation within the pointed tip as shown in the last photo. It does not affect the overall appearance of the lamp and won’t be visible once the lamp is attached to the ceiling.
The collectible value is preserved by the original retail labels inside the metal ceiling cap. less
