Created in the style of designer Alfredo Barbini, circa 1950-1960, with similar shapes published in his Weil Ceramics and Glass catalog. The dog looks to be a Whippet or Greyhound with a thin long face, body and tail. It has dark amethyst black eyes and nose, and floppy ears. Unusual but happy color. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or curio cabinet. Mid-century era. A must for the dog lover and Murano animals collector. Measures: 10 1/8" tall x 7 1/2" long x 3" wide.
