An acrylic on canvas abstract painting by the American artist James Massena March (1953-2021). Titled "Inclement Weather," this painting depicts a billowing black and white striped background with overlapping bright purple and green wavy lines in the foreground. The painting is signed "J. Massena March" and titled verso and displayed in a black wooden frame.
James Massena March was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and spent most of his life living in Ohio. March attended The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Rhode Island School of Design for some time, eventually receiving his Bachelor's degree from Cleveland State University and Master's of Fine Art at Kent State University. His work is in the collections of PNC Bank, Cleveland State University, and Case Western Reserve University. less
